Children's war games are widely used in Ukraine as a part of the state strategy for national patriotic education. Such an entertaining and didactic tool, like a military game, was developed and integrated into the education system during Soviet period. Today, political and economic realities have changed, and Ukraine seeks to hide its own Soviet past, although old structures are still in demand, adopting new content.
